How to Look After your Spin Bike

Once you buy a spin bike another important thing you need to do other than working out using it is looking after it. In simple words you need to maintain it. Spin Bikes cost money and that is why you should try and make the best of them and make sure they stay with you for a very long time and that is only possible if you look after it. Maintaining a spin bike is easy and would not take a lot of your tine. Below in this article I have covered 3 routines that will help you look after your spin bike.

Daily Maintenance

Spending some time each day on maintaining your spin bike will have a huge positive impact on the life of your spin bike. All you have to do each day is ensure that after you are done working out you wipe the seat and handlebars nicely with a dry towel so that no water is soaked in since it can cause damage. After that also wipe the metal parts in case water is present on them as well.

Weekly Maintenance

At the end of the week make sure you check the whole of your spin to ensure everything is ok. Make sure you check the brake pad carefully.  While working out make sure there is no wobbling or any unwanted sound or movements. In case you do feel something do not ignore it. Check it immediately and get it repaired if needed. Also make sure all the knobs and screws are tight. Also check the handlebars and the seat.

Yearly Maintenance

Each year you should make sure you open all the parts of your spin bike and check if they are ok. If they are ok lubricate them before you put them back and in case they are not ok get them replaced as quickly as you can to avoid any more damage. Keep your spin bike away from water.
